1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RoleFit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RoleFit is an AI-powered resume optimization platform that analyzes your CV against job descriptions, provides ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility scores, identifies missing keywords, and generates optimized CVs and cover letters.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious files or attempt to exploit the Service
  • Circumvent usage limits or access controls
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

5. Subscription & Payments

RoleFit offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any CVs, resumes, or content you upload. The optimized outputs generated by the Service are yours to use. RoleFit retains rights to the platform, algorithms, and all underlying technology.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate suggestions and optimized content. AI-generated outputs are provided as recommendations and should be reviewed before use. RoleFit does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content or employment outcomes.

8. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not store your raw CV text — only a hash for deduplication purposes. Uploaded files are processed in memory and not persisted to disk.

9. Limitation of Liability

RoleFit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
